Job Description:
The
Finance/Admin Officer for PDRC will manage the financial and administrative
functions of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a
strong background in accounting, finance, and office administration.
Key
Responsibilities:
1. Financial
Management:
- Maintain
accurate financial records, including ledgers, receipts, invoices, and other
financial documents.
- Prepare
and process payments, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and
timely.
- Manage
payroll processing, including calculating salaries, taxes, and other
deductions.
- Prepare
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets,
income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist
in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring adherence to financial
policies and procedures.
- Coordinate
audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and organizational
policies.
2. Accounts
Payable and Receivable:
- Process
accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and
completeness.
- Reconcile
bank statements and financial records to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Monitor
and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments.
3. Administrative
Support:
- Manage
day-to-day administrative operations, including office supplies, equipment
maintenance, and facilities management.
- Coordinate
meetings, workshops, and events, including scheduling, logistics, and
documentation.
- Maintain
accurate and up-to-date administrative records, including contracts,
agreements, and correspondence.
- Provide
administrative support to the management team, including preparing reports,
presentations, and other documentation.
4. Human
Resources Support:
- Assist
with HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee
record-keeping.
- Ensure
compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate
staff training and development activities.
5. Procurement
and Inventory Management:
- Oversee
procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management.
- Maintain
and update inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking of assets and
supplies.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Job Requirement
Qualifications
and Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

- A minimum of 3-5 years of
experience in accounting and administrative roles.

- Strong knowledge of
accounting principles, financial regulations, and office administration
procedures.

- Proficiency in accounting
software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word,
PowerPoint).

- Excellent organizational
and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet
deadlines.

- Strong attention to
detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.

- Good interpersonal and
communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

- Fluency in at least 2 of
the major local languages (Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba) is an added advantage.

- Willingness to travel domestically as required.
